It’s not just about me.

While my website covers my personal art. Equally important in my life are my students. As the founder and ED of The Joy of Drawing, a no. Profit in the Bay Area, I am as passionate about empowering others to create as I am about my own practice.

I always knew I wanted to be an artist. I entered Art College at 16 and graduated aged 21 from the Brighton College of art in the UK specializing in painting and printmaking. After many years of wandering I finally found my way back to follow my dreams. But this time I added the role of sharing my passion.

My influences remain the same now as they were at art school. Notably Pierre Bonnard, Henri Matisse and David Hockney.
